He is currently researching the response of the climate to accelerating polar ice melt over the next century. Craig has a PhD in Ocean Physics from the University of Southampton, where he studied the response of the Antarctic Subpolar Sea to ice melt and changes in wind forcing. Following his PhD, Craig researched economic instability and energy-economy models at the University of Surrey.
